Theresa earned her Master's of Architecture from Montana State University and began her career in Bozeman with Formescent Architects in 2016. She has studied in Western Europe and traveled to many different regions in the US. While pursuing her education she worked for the University Architect at Campus Planning Design and Construction and collaborated with Martel Construction to design their construction office, an adaptive reuse of four shipping containers on campus. While in grad school she earned awards for diversity in research, sustainable design and historic preservation.

Theresa grew up on a rural log homestead in Olympia, Washington where she lived a stone’s throw from old growth forests and marine habitats. She developed an innate respect for the wilderness and her design philosophy is driven by how site and context can uniquely shape a project. Her work is influenced by local tradition and strategies found in the vernacular architecture of the industrious people that settled this valley.

When she's not helping our clients, Theresa enjoys painting, snowboarding, backpacking and sampling local cuisine.
